Lyman Orchards was founded in 1741 as a small family owned business and has now evolved into one of the most popular family destinations in Central Connecticut

Sukanya Mohan, who is a regular visitor at the orchard, said “Lyman Orchards is one of the favorite spots here we were couple of months back here for raspberry and blueberry picking. It’s an awesome field picking. It’s good. It’s fresh. It’s ripe from the trees so it tastes good. Fresh taste. Love it.”

The 1100 acre farm is more than just delicious fruit! the orchard has two eighteen hole championship golf courses, a corn maze, and even an apple barrel market, where they sell baked goods, fresh fruits from their orchard, apple cider, souvenirs and more! Lyman Orchards has a section also called pick your own, where they have strawberries, blueberries, peaches, pears and much more.

Another regular visitor at the orchard, Kardhik Narayan, said, “It’s very very great like I’ve been here almost every year. This is the third time I’m coming here for the apple picking and in the summer time we come for the strawberries and raspberry pickings and it’s a good place for us to hang out.”
